Every year, over 3.7 million U.S. workers are injured or made sick at work. You don't expect it to happen--yet in most circumstances it's entirely preventable. One of the most cost-effective ways to decrease the chance of a workplace injury happening in your business is to involve your employees in looking out for and addressing potential safety problems before anyone gets hurt.

This workshop will introduce you to low-budget strategies for beefing up your health and safety program, including tools and strategies for engaging your employees in this effort. You'll learn abou Cal/OSHA requirements and principles, as well as specific tips for effectively controlling workplace hazards.

This program is especially designed for small to medium sized businesses, including non-profit organizations, although all size businesses and organizations will benefit and are welcome.
