Booth, Shipping, & Food FAQ
I’ve purchased a booth at your Expo. When can I come in and set up?
You may set up your booth space during the following times:
Wednesday, August 5th (1-5pm), and Thursday, August 6th (8-8:30am).
What size is the booth?
Booths are 10x10 with a skirted 8-ft table and 2 chairs.
Should I bring my own booth to the Expo?
No, please do not bring a booth. If you purchased a booth at our Expo, NCMSDC will be handling the display space and booth banners. Please note that the San Jose Convention Center will not accept any other hanging banners.
Can I ship marketing materials and other items in advance?
Yes. Please clearly mark all items “For NCMSDC Expo.” They MUST ARRIVE by COB on Friday, July 31 at the following address: John Murray Productions, Inc., 1196 32nd Street, Oakland, CA 94608. Please note there is a fee involved (see below).
Can I get return shipping on freight?
Yes. Our event coordinator, John Murray Productions, Inc., will supply the packing tape and staff to handle your return freight. Please provide your own return shipping labels. John Murray Productions, Inc. will have blank labels on-site should you need them, so please bring your account numbers, return address, etc. The return freight must be complete and ready to go when you drop off your goods. Please note that John Murray Productions, Inc. will return your freight the week of August 10, so if you need your freight returned to you sooner you should make separate arrangements. Please also note that there is a fee involved (see below).
How much will it cost to ship my freight to/from the Expo?
For packages that weigh up to 35lbs, it will cost $25 per package each way. For heavier/larger packages, it will cost $50 each way. If you pay with a credit card, there will be a 5% handling/convenience fee.

Will there be food at the Expo?
Yes. NCMSDC will only be providing morning coffee, pastries, and water for a limited time, but there will also be a concession stand (from 8-11am) with for-purchase light breakfast fare and refreshments.
